Renowned author Tom Peters will keynote the kickoff reception for InfoComm 2002 in Las Vegas, on June 11. This event also wraps up a 2-day, university-level business management program being held for the first time at InfoComm.

Peters is the author of In Search of Excellence, among other noted books. His motivational speeches have inspired new management practices around the world. His keynote theme, “We’re in a Brawl with No Rules,” promises a riveting presentation in which Peters will indicate how all bets are off in today’s business climate. Industry professionals will need to find new ways of doing business and should learn to appreciate and use opportunities for change.

ICIA’s business management course is designed to provide audiovisual professionals and businesspeople with practical tools and advice for achieving success in the current business environment. In keeping with the theme of InfoComm 2002, “Come to Your Senses,” the course emphasizes a pragmatic, hands-on approach to business management. The message is: Roll up your sleeves and get to work.
