The U.S. Court of Appeals in Washington, D.C. affirmed Switchcraft Inc.'s summary judgement win against Neutrik Inc., regarding Switchcraft's HPC connector series. The court confirmed that Switchcraft Inc. has not violated Neutrik's U.S. Patent No. 5205749 on the Speakon connector. The court's decision stated that “the district court did not err in its conclusion that the Switchcraft socket does not infringe the 749 patent.” A complete copy of the appellate court's ruling is posted at the Switchcraft Web site.
