Leitch Technology Corporation made a major sale tooNDT, the leading distributor and systems integrator for broadcast, communication, and multimedia solutions in mainland China, for use by Guangdong TV during the Ninth National Games held November 11-25, 2001.
GDTV used a large Leitch routing system and three sets of Opus master switches, which played a key role in the master control room, international broadcast center, and play-to-air facilities.
The success of the infrastructure for this project is planned to play a large role in the Olympic Games scheduled to take place in China in 2008.
