Mojave Creates VP of S&M Position

Mojave Audio appointed Cathy Kelly to the newly created position of vice president of sales and marketing, starting October 1. Based in Nashville, Tenn. Kelly’s presence in the music-centered city is expected to dramatically increase the company’s visibility among the area’s numerous studios and recording professionals, according to the company.
Kelly will be responsible for all domestic and international sales of Mojave Audio’s product line. She will also assume a key role in further developing the company’s authorized dealer and distributor network, work to increase consumer awareness of the Mojave brand, create long-term strategies for company growth, foster client relationships, and oversee the company’s artist development program.
Kelly is known in the pro audio community for her work with Ultrasone of America. During her time there, she increased the company’s stature and made Ultrasone a key line of headphones used and endorsed by leading recording and live sound engineers.
“In the few short years since its formation, Mojave Audio has come to be recognized as one of the top new microphone lines,” said Kelly in a statement. “I’m confident our microphones will be warmly received as we work to increase their visibility in the music and sound markets.”
