Orlando, Florida–based design-build contracting firm RAW Media Teknologies recently installed BSS Audio Soundweb components into several Hyatt Hotels, including locations in Jersey City and the Blackhawk Casino in Blackhawk, Colorado. Those two utilize a BSS 9000ii hub and at least five 9088ii digital signal-processing (DSP) hubs.
RAW is now working on a project for the Hyatt Regency Orlando Resort and Convention Center, which is scheduled to open in 2004. The audio system will take advantage of myriad Soundweb components, including 7, 9000ii hubs; 8, 9008 networked signal processors and 9014 fiber interfaces; 25, 9088ii DSP units; a ProSys PS-8810 digital processor and mixer for real-time event changes; and more than 80, 9010 Jellyfish programmable remote controls for local system control.
