The Sub 200 and Sub 100 in-wall powered subwoofer systems deliver deep bass that brings added realism and impact to movies and music while staying out of sight inside almost any wall. These in-wall subwoofer systems provide an invisible home theater and music solution to dealers and customers. The patented positive-clamping system creates a rigid barrier around the speaker baffle, trapping vibrations to let the subwoofer rattle the senses and not the walls. The exclusive low-level linearity means the in-wall Sub 200 always pumps bass that’s deep and balanced, even at lower volumes.

The R.5HP full-range loudspeaker is a three-way, horn-loaded device engineered to deliver high output and maximum intelligibility from the confines of an extremely compact enclosure. The roto-molded, weather- and UV-resistant loudspeaker holds its pattern control down to 630 Hz and comes standard with integral stainless-steel mounting points and a passive crossover network. Central to the R.5HP’s high-octane performance is the coaxial packaging of the M200A midrange driver and the UC1 1-inch exit high-frequency transducer within the mouth of the loudspeaker’s 12-inch low-frequency horn. Together the M200A/UC1 combination is ideal for both voice-only and musical programs.

Whispering Windows uses an advanced smart metal to inconspicuously transform any pane of glass or solid surface into a high-performance audio speaker, giving business owners the ability to attract customers with sound as well as sight. Using two devices resembling chrome-covered hockey pucks that attach to smooth surfaces, Whispering Windows emits music or recorded messages throughout an entire pane of glass or other solid surface, transforming whole storefronts into speakers. It allows smooth and steady sound to emanate from glass, steel, plaster, wood, and other solid surfaces. Furthermore, Whispering Windows can automatically adjust its volume according to other noises present.

Amplifier

Dynacord

Weighing 17.97 pounds, the LX 2200 is two rack units in height and is rated at 2W by 1,100W. The secret of its compactness is in the combination of a switching power supply with Class H technology. A safeguard provided by the Soft Start relay system is a power-up delay to protect the power outputs and also limits current flow to eliminate the risk of blowing a fuse in the mains power supply. LX power amplifiers are equipped with ultra-high-speed audio processors that compare the output signal to the input signal and are capable of sending fresh control parameters to the limiter in the event of nonlinearity.

Receiver

Anchor Audio
www.anchoraudio.com

The UHF-6400 is a wireless receiver with 64 user-selectable UHF channels for ultrareliable reception. The UHF-6400 delivers true diversity reception with two independent RF sections for interference-resistant UHF band operation. Phase Lock Loop-synthesized reception further improves reliability. The UHF-6400 is designed for a full range of indoor and outdoor uses such as auditorium speeches, small-theater audio, gym sports announcements, and athletic-field marching-band instructions.

The FDS-366T sports a new generation of audio filters. These filters are comparable to Linkwitz-Riley 36 dB/octave and 48 db/octave but with improved performance and steeper rolloff slopes of 36 dB and 52 dB per octave, respectively. Distinct filter topology speeds up the rolloff slope. Like the Linkwitz-Riley topology, it maintains zero phase difference between adjacent bands throughout the crossover region (no polar pattern shift as frequencies move through the crossover region).

Equalizer

Rane Corp.
www.rane.com

The DEQ 60L stereo ⅓-octave digital graphic equalizer is the long-throw (45 mm) fader version of the model DEQ 60 ⅓-octave graphic equalizer previously introduced by the company. The digital signal path uses advanced DSP algorithms so that you can have the output magnitude response correspond exactly to the front-panel settings: true WYSIWYG. The patented technology trademarked Perfect-Q comes from the fact that the DSP calculates the perfect Q required to create the exact response dictated by the front-panel slider positions. The Perfect-Q design provides an unprecedented degree of adjustment.
