X2O Media, an end-to-end digital signage and creative design solution provider, was officially launched today following the completion of the sale of VertigoXmedia to Miranda Technologies. Prior to the sale, the assets and staff of Vertigo’s Digital Signage Division and Creative Services team were spun off to form X2O Media, which will be headed by former VertigoXmedia President and CEO
David Wilkins. The company will showcase its flagship digital signage product, Xpresenter, and demonstrate the company’s remote monitoring, content creation services, and managed networking services at the InfoComm show, booth 3187, in Orlando, Fla., from June 7-9, 2006.

“We created X2O Media because we felt the growing digital signage market could benefit greatly from our expertise in creating and managing digital content, acquired through our work with some of the largest media companies in the world,” says Wilkins. “Digital signage networks will soon rival traditional television networks, and we’re strategically poised to enable that revolution.”

X2O Media will offer a wide array of digital signage services that provide total solutions for dynamic signage deployments in industry verticals such as retail, transportation, and corporate communications. The new company’s services include content creation, management, distribution, and production services, as well as network management, network monitoring and server hosting, integration, installation and support, and data automation solutions for digital signage.

X2O will also provide creative design services for broadcast graphics and other types of digital content. Its award-winning Creative Services team is world-renowned for its expertise in the design of compelling graphics on a wide variety of 2D and 3D graphics platforms for some of the highest-profile TV productions including the Super Bowl, the World Series, and U.S. presidential elections.
