Chinese company Timekettle has expanded their selection of AI-powered translation accessories with their first bone conduction earbuds that provide real-time language translation. Timekettle claims that the bone conduction design of the W4 interpreter earbuds provide greater clarity, eliminating unwanted noise to and reliably picking up voices.
The bone conduction model is a follow-up to the company’s W4 over-ear interpreter earbuds, which TimeKettle says were designed for professional use. The company claims that the new bone conduction model are optimized for casual, everyday use. The earbuds connect to TimeKettle’s new BabelOS software to provide translation of 42 languages and 95 accents, claiming a lag time of just .2 seconds. Translation is further beefed up by an LLM system that the company says uses context-aware interpretation to eliminate errors.
“The W4 is a game-changer for anyone engaging in global conversations,” said Leal Tian, Founder and CEO of Timekettle. “By leveraging our proprietary HybridComm™ AI technology that forms the backbone of our recently announced Babel OS software, we’ve created a device that not only translates in real time but also feels natural and effortless to use—just like having an interpreter right by your side.”
The W4 AI interpreter earbuds are available now in Navy Blue and Sandy Gold for $349.
