Danish company Canvas launched its original HiFi speaker in 2024, notable for featuring an adjustable mounting system that allowed it to sit flush beneath mounted TVs. Later, a new version specifically made for Samsung’s Frame TV models made their debut.
The company has now unveiled a new model, the Canvas L, featuring a peak output of 1500W. Canvas describes its new offering as “the world’s first audiophile soundbar.”
“With Canvas L, our ambition was to create far more than a conventional TV audio product. We wanted to deliver a true audiophile experience with the emotional engagement, scale and precision of high-end hi-fi – integrated seamlessly into contemporary interior design,” said Laust Nielsen, CEO of Canvas HiFi.
The Canvas L features the same form factor as its smaller sibling, able to be wall-mounted or sit freely beneath a TV. The soundbar’s magnetic grilles are available in sizes ranging from 65- to 85-inches, with custom options ranging from 98- to 115-inches.
1500W of Class D amplification power two tweeter modules featuring custom 4-inch midrange drivers. These are complimented by four 8-inch Scan-Speak woofers, tuned by designer Benno Baun Meldgaard, helping the Canvas L achieve its designers’ audiophile ambitions.
