Epson has launched the EB-XQ2030B, a new 30,000-lumen 4K projector designed for rental and staging, visitor attractions, themed entertainment, commercial signage, immersive spaces and digital art installations, as well as selected corporate and higher education environments.
Designed to make 30,000-lumen projection more accessible, the EB-XQ2030B combines Epson’s 3LCD technology with 4K Crystal Motion to deliver ultra-high brightness and detailed 4K images in a compact form factor. Epson describes EB-XQ2030B as the world’s smallest and lightest 30,000-lumen 4K projector. The EB-XQ2030B is aimed primarily at the rental and staging sector where transporting, rigging and deploying multiple high-brightness projectors is routine, but it is also intended for fixed installation projects where size, weight and installation flexibility are important.
Epson says the combination of image quality, size, weight and price point is intended to drive further adoption of 30,000-lumen projection and support market growth across rental, staging and fixed installation applications.
The environmental impact of the EB-XQ2030B is considered throughout each stage of the manufacturing process. This includes consideration of raw materials, packaging and waste products, energy consumption from logistics, storage requirements and operating power consumption.
