Hisense teases “world’s first 8K Laser TV”

No word on pricing or availability, Hisense has confirmed the model is limited edition

Among the plethora of news coming out of this year’s CES show, Hisense has teased details about what it is calling “the first 8K Laser TV introduced in the world.” Dubbed the 120LX, the 8K laser TV sports a laundry list of features, including a triple color laser light source, Dolby Atmos, DTS Virtual:X Audio Technology, IMAX Enhanced certifications, and more.

The triple color laser light source mentioned is a reference to Hisense’s TriChroma technology, which utilizes three different laser light sources as well as double-area micromirrors. The 120LX is named after its massive 120 inch display, and run at up to 400 nits of brightness. Interestingly, Hisense says that this model will be a limited edition product. No word on pricing or availability just yet.
