The Logitech Spot sensor was released earlier this year, designed to track everything from a room’s current population to temperature, humidity, and air pressure. Now, a new update has opened up the device to multiple workplace management, AV control, and analytics platforms.
Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are making their nautical debut
Previously isolated to its own standalone dashboard, the Spot can now integrate with workplace platforms including Appspace, Extron, Q-SYS, Planon, Robin, Spaceti, Utelogy, VergeSense, Xyte and Zoom. These new connections allow the Spot’s real-time room activity metrics to automatically trigger actions in a third-party platform, including booking meeting rooms, adjusting calendars, or tracking air quality conditions.
Using a peel-and-stick mount, the Spot sensor connects via Bluetooth to Logitech CollabOS host devices or through long-range LoRaWAN gateways, running for up to four years on a replaceable battery or via standard USB-C power.
