The lines between real life advertising and viral stunts are continuing to be blurred, as social media was buzzing about footage the seemingly showed skyscraper-sized Barbie stepping out of a digital billboard in Dubai.

The viral clip was shot on an iPhone, and was created by Eye Studio, an agency based out of the UAE. According to The Drum, all of the effects were added in the actual footage, making the Godzilla-sized Barbie a thing of myth. Still, it was enough to achieve viral fame, and stunts like these are raising questions about the efficacy of viral marketing. In a final twist, Warner Bros. issued a statement saying that the ad was not part of the movie’s official marketing.
