Recent enhancements to the Microsoft Teams BYOD experience, such as automatic peripheral selection and speaker attribution, have been integrated into ClickShare’s workflows. In ClickShare BYOD rooms, automatic selection of room camera and audio enables in-room participants to use the camera and audio of the meeting room to optimize view and sound. Speaker recognition allows in-room meeting participants to easily track who said what in meetings, for an accurate meeting recap and task assignment overview generated by Copilot. Optimized shared display shows the Team’s meeting window on the in-room display, and voice isolation is improved. The in-room workflow enhancements complement Microsoft´s IT admin developments in the Shared Spaces initiative for planning, budgeting, and usage monitoring. Barco has also debuted an AI-powered feature that uses the laptop cameras present in a meeting room to bridge the distance between remote and in-room participants. Depending on room interactions, this SmartFocus feature applies smart switching between the room camera and the speakers’ laptop, bringing automatic audio optimization. Taking advantage of the laptop cameras in the room gives remote participants a better view of the room dynamics.
