The Global Configurator Professional (GC Pro) software is the heart of Extron’s unique configuration-based control. Designed for use exclusively with Extron Pro Series control systems, it includes conditional logic, which allows advanced functionality by making “if” and “else” statements available, allowing for easy set up of operations that are dependent upon occurrence/non-occurrence events. GC Pro is scaleable via the Controller Groups feature, which allows up to four IP Link Pro control processors to be grouped and work as one controller. This latest version of Global Configurator also allows system designers to configure Extron IPCP Pro control processors for the latest Building Management System protocols. The Pro Series control products comprise a range of six IP Link Pro processors; 12 new touchpanels, including five capacitive; third party integration for touchscreens of any size; and support for Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) via Extron LinkLicense.
