Pexip has extended its Infinity Connect Suite by introducing a mobile Virtual Meeting Room client for Apple iOS devices. The Infinity Connect Mobile client complements the company’s comprehensive client offering for all Web browsers and desktop operating systems—providing users with an easy-to-use tool to collaborate face-to-face via their mobile devices. The full Virtual Meeting Room provides video, audio, and presentation viewing capabilities, and adds a range of basic conference management options. Designed to be extremely easy to use, Infinity Connect Mobile lets users quickly and simply connect using video or—in areas with low bandwidth or poor reception—conduct audio-only meetings over cellular networks or Wi-Fi. Infinity Connect Mobile allows users to quickly initiate ad-hoc meetings and invite, add, or disconnect users, mute and unmute participants, and much more. Pexip will make available an advanced client software development kit (SDK) to enable a full custom branding and app development environment. As with Pexip’s existing Infinity Connect clients for other platforms, enterprises and customers can quickly and easily apply their own themes, looks, and branding concepts to create an extended collaboration experience that promotes adaption, and widespread usage among their employees.
