For HDBaseT transmission of HDMI 2.0 in Ultra HD/4K and HDR formats, the PureLink HTE III Tx/Rx uses PureLink’s proprietary Précis codec, a light compression technology. The system sends the video and accompanying sound over CATx cable up to 230ft. at Ultra HD/4K and up to 330ft. at 1080p with embedded multi-channel audio, CEC pass-through, bi-directional RS-232 and IR control, Ethernet, and PoE. The very small transmitter/ receiver pair also supports Dolby TrueHD, Dolby Digital Plus, and DTSHD Master Audio plus LCPM up to 192kHz.
