Shure has released the KSE1500 electrostatic earphone system, SHA900 portable audio amplifier, and SE846 sound isolating-earphones— three new products that the company is targeting at high-fidelity audio consumers. The KSE1500 is a sound-isolating electrostatic earphone and amplifier system for use with smartphones, tablets, or computers (Mac, PC, iOS, or Android). The system matches a pair of single-driver, electrostatic sound-isolating earphones with a USB converter (DAC/ADC) that processes audio from portable digital or analog audio sources. The SHA900 is a premium portable audio amplifier with D-to-A conversion; it has a customizable 4-band parametric EQ, and the ability to process digital audio directly via micro-USB as well as analog via a direct line in. The SE846 Sound Isolating Earphones use Quad High-Definition MicroDrivers in a three-way system configuration for dedicated low-, mid-, and high-frequency distribution; available in three colors—blue, bronze, and black.
