Almo Pro AV’s Gisela Ramirez Honored Among SCN’s 2026 Class of The Nine – May 14, 2026

Philadelphia, PA – May 14, 2026 – Almo Pro AV, a leading value-added North American Pro AV distributor with nationwide reach, today announced that Gisela Ramirez, Southeast Territory Sales Manager, has been recognized by Systems Contractor News (SCN) as a 2026 member of the elite group known as The Nine.

As one of the Pro AV industry’s most sought-after titles, SCN’s The Nine calls out young professionals like Ramirez who are shaping the future of AV through leadership and vision. Read her full article here.

“Gisela represents the very best of what this industry needs moving forward: strong leadership, relentless dedication, and a genuine commitment to helping others grow,” said Dan Smith, EVP, Almo Pro AV. “She truly leads with authenticity and we are proud to see her contributions recognized on such a respected industry stage.”

In her SCN interview, Ramirez shared how mentorship and supporting others have become central to her leadership approach. She said, “This industry gave me room to grow, and I feel a responsibility to create that same space for others coming up behind me.”

“Being named one of The Nine is a real honor, especially in an industry where relationships and showing up consistently truly matter,” said Ramirez. “I’ve built my career by leaning into people first, results second and somehow that formula keeps working. This recognition reflects the teams, partners, and mentors who’ve poured into me along the way, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to continue paying that forward while helping raise the bar for our industry.”

Ramirez is a seasoned sales leader with more than a decade of experience in the Pro AV industry. She is known for building strong partner relationships, aligning teams for high performance, and delivering multimillion-dollar results across key Southeast markets through disciplined execution and a hands-on approach. She is focused on supporting integrators and end users with scalable solutions and consistent follow-through.

In addition to her sales role, Ramirez leads an Employee Resource Group (ERG) called the Abilities Group, where she is focused on creating an empowering environment centered on skill development, confidence-building, and practical tools employees can apply in their day-to-day roles. She was also recently accepted as a board member for Women in AV IT (WAVIT), further advancing her commitment to supporting and developing women across the AV industry.

This marks the fourth consecutive year an Almo Pro AV employee has earned this distinguished recognition. In 2025, Cory Allen, Vice President of LinkLab Services, was selected to The Nine, following Rob Voorhees, Director of Business Development – Audio Category Manager, in 2024, and Karen Castaño, Director of National Business, in 2023.
