Atlona to Bring AV over IP Solutions to 2018 BICSI Fall Conference and Exhibition

First time exhibitor to demonstrate industry-leading vision and product innovations to the ICT industry responsible for the design and integration of critical infrastructure
Publish date:

SAN JOSE, California, August 22, 2018 – The commercial audio-visual (AV) industry’s transition from circuit-based to IP systems is driving closer partnerships with the information and communications technology (ICT) community that is responsible for the design, integration and management of critical infrastructure. These ongoing developments has inspired Atlona to exhibit at the upcoming 2018 BISCI Fall Conference and Exhibition, in an effort to work directly with the designers, installers and technicians interested in adding AV as a service inside facilities and data centers.

“Atlona has taken an aggressive approach toward accelerating AV systems to IP based on a new generation of BYOD, collaboration and control solutions that live within a facility’s IT infrastructure,” said Ilya Khayn, CEO, Atlona. “ICT technicians are among the first behind the walls, responsible for the cabling, racks, patchbays and distribution systems that define a facility’s physical infrastructure. Our goal at BISCI is to communicate how ICT technicians can build out a complete AV over IP solution for intelligent buildings, alongside voice and data, with optimal efficiency.”

Atlona will highlight three specialized AV solutions for the ICT industry at BISCI:

  • OmniStream, a comprehensive AV over IP platform for the switching and distribution of video, audio and USB over the network
  • Velocity, an IP- and cloud-enabled AV control platform that offers unprecedented scalability for up to 5000 controlled devices within an IT infrastructure
  • AMS, a powerful, easy-to-use IP management system to configure, monitor and service multiple Atlona products from a web browser

These three pillars of Atlona’s AV over IP portfolio, now shipping, can be used separately or together in a variety of facilities and system architectures. All three solutions also comprise Atlona’s new All-IP Meeting Space, which gives IT integrators unprecedented power and flexibility to design, integrate, scale, and manage meeting room systems large and small — while offering new opportunities to meet continually evolving customer demands for effective communication and collaboration.

The BISCI show takes place at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center in San Antonio from September 9-13. Atlona will exhibit at Booth 541.
