Each level of training covers different material, and each level builds on previous activity. Level 1 training focuses on fundamental audio, video, and networking skills and introduces the main tools used in a Dante network. Level 2 certification training builds the skills to confidently design, set up, operate, and troubleshoot Dante systems that span multiple network switches. Finally, level 3 certification covers the fundamentals of Layer 3 enterprise networks and working on converged networks. It also covers the role Dante Domain Manager™ plays, how it enables more network capability and offers a view of the server itself.
Dante is the long-standing industry-leading protocol for digital audio networking, which enables the distribution of hundreds of uncompressed, multi-channel digital audio channels via standard Ethernet networks with near-zero latency and perfect synchronization. The training also applies to Dante AV products, which add networked video to the Dante platform. With 325 Dante original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) delivering over 3,800 networked and video devices, including video cameras, microphones, loudspeakers, and amplifiers, it is the most common network an AV professional will use.
Each course lasts four hours and requires the successful completion of a test to receive certification. To learn more or to register for training, go here.
