AVI-SPL’s Control Room in a Box (CRiB)
CRG to Spotlight the Utility Control Room in a Box (CRiB) at Booth 246
AVI-SPL’s Control Room Group (CRG) today announced it will exhibit at AFCOM and Data Center World Spring 2010, which will be held at the Gaylord Opryland Resort and Convention Center, Nashville, Tenn., March 7-11. The Control Room Group specializes in the design, integration and support of the 24/7/365 mission critical control centers used in the data center industry.
Exhibiting in Booth 246, the Control Room Group will demonstrate the Control Room in a Box (CRiB). The system uses standard off-the-shelf components and can be custom designed to meet the unique requirements of the control center staff. The CRiB is affordable, scalable and can be installed in less than one day. The CRiB includes a large screen display system to ensure situational awareness, primary and secondary monitors, video processing, a human machine interface (HMI), an operator console and an intensive use chair.

The AFCOM and Data Center World conference is the largest educational conference for data center management professionals. The conference hosts a variety of educational sessions, roundtable discussions, live data center tours and an expo hosting more than 180 leading industry manufacturers.
