Thatcham, UK – 3 June 2025: Test & measurement innovator, Leader Electronics of Europe, has announced that Barnfind Technologies has invested in a third PHABRIX Qx advanced rasterizer for its critical test and QC processes. Based in Sandefjord, Norway, Barnfind Technologies designs and manufactures an extensive range of fiber-optic transport solutions for video, audio and data, including a multi-functional signal transmission platform that supports numerous signals in one frame.
Ensuring that it has access to high-quality T&M equipment has always been essential to the Barnfind development teams. For electrical testing, the required set-up includes a signal generator for SDI signals up to 12G, as well as an analyzer capable of reporting eye patterns, amplitude and CRC error counts. To satisfy the requirement for “straightforward, rapid and reliable” verification of its products’ optical and electrical performance, Barnfind has long relied upon an inventory including two PHABRIX Qx advanced rasterizers – to which the company has just added a third unit.

In order to “maintain pace with our company’s growth and meet customer demands”, a third PHABRIX Qx was recently ordered from Leader Electronics of Europe’s Norwegian distributor, Logical, to support critical test and QC processes. In addition, the R&D department frequently utilizes the PHABRIX Qx units to measure, verify and log data that is essential for optimizing Barnfind’s product development.
An enduring cornerstone of the PHABRIX range, the Qx brings together all the advanced T&M tools required for transitioning to the next generation of video formats. Designed for HD/3G/6G/12-SDI and IP ST 2110/2022-7/2022-6, environments, the instrument set includes tools for rapid fault diagnosis, compliance monitoring and product development.
