BenQ EZWrite 6 Software Now AWS-Qualified

EZWrite 6 Web and BenQ Board Whiteboard Software Passed the AWS Foundational Technical Review, Providing Assurance in Security, Reliability, and Operational Excellence

COSTA MESA, Calif. — Feb. 28, 2023 — BenQ, an internationally renowned provider of visual display solutions, has successfully completed the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Foundational Technical Review (FTR) for EZWrite 6, BenQ’s official interactive whiteboarding software. EZWrite 6 transforms collaboration with a digital canvas and tools that make sessions productive and engaging, enabling groups to share information and develop ideas through various operating systems and from different locations.

“Being able to interact effortlessly and creatively and deliver a highly engaging group experience is at the heart of our feature-rich, license-free, and intuitive EZWrite 6 software,” said Bob Wudeck, senior director of business development at BenQ Education. “Our AWS qualification provides organizations with the confidence that any security and reliability concerns have been addressed. It’s a comprehensive and innovative solution that goes above and beyond to meet goals in the classroom and solve arising IT issues.”

The AWS FTR mitigates risks in software and creates an additional layer of protection for customers using cloud-based solutions developed by official AWS Independent Software Vendor (ISV) Partners such as BenQ. Both the cloud whiteboarding feature of EZWrite 6 and EZWrite 6 Web have undergone thorough review — conducted with the guidance of an AWS Partner Solutions Architect — and are now formally recognized as AWS Qualified Software.

Passing the FTR ensures that EZWrite 6 adheres to AWS best practices and guidelines to reduce risks related to security, reliability, and operational excellence as defined by the AWS Well-Architected Framework. With EZWrite being categorized as AWS Qualified Software, users can fully utilize its cloud-based features without security or reliability concerns.

Thanks to BenQ’s license-free EZWrite 6 software, teachers can use their BenQ Boards like a whiteboard, display, computer, and wireless screen-sharing system. And because the software features multiplatform support, it can run on Android and Windows devices as well as web browsers on Mac, iPad, and Chromebook, with a consistent and engaging experience across all devices, even sessions with remote participants. EZWrite 6 is packed with classroom tools for all subjects, including timers, rulers, protractors, compasses, and more. Whiteboard sessions can be saved on the cloud, allowing users to pick up where they left off quickly or students to access recorded lectures on any device and refer to them later. They also can open IWB, PDF, PPT, and DOC files and image files directly on the whiteboard. To complement the experience, the split-screen windows function enables multiple applications to be opened side by side — with no need to tap between content — making it even easier to conduct lessons and further comprehension.
