Brea, CA, April 22, 2024— Bolin Technology, a brand of PTZ cameras, and NDI, the global video-over-IP connectivity standard, announce a new partnership of NDI integration across the Bolin product line. Under the agreement, Bolin will license the latest, most advanced NDI technologies in its PTZ cameras, PTZ controller (KBD-1020N) and Decoder (EG40N). This collaboration allows Bolin to offer its customers the most advanced and up-to-date features, tools, and benefits of NDI, including the new release of NDI 6.
“We are pleased to offer our customers the option to experience the functionality, tools, and local and remote capabilities of NDI, a standard for video connectivity, with Bolin products,” said Kyle Lo, CEO of Bolin. “We are eager for our broadcast customers to experience the capabilities of NDI 6 with our newest indoor and outdoor PTZ cameras.”
NDI, commonly known as Network Device Interface, is a widely adopted video connectivity standard based on proprietary IP networking specifications. NDI 6 provides native HDR support and expands WAN connectivity for hardware, addressing critical industry requirements and pushing the boundaries of visual quality and remote workflows. Designed for broadcasters and content creators, NDI 6 will embed WAN connectivity into Bolin’s product line, promising a transformative impact on the flexibility of remote productions and setups. This will offer a seamless experience for anyone sending and receiving video, regardless of the device, platform, or location. NDI-enabled cameras with the Bridge utility can also even join remote networks without depending on additional software or tools.
“We are thrilled to have Bolin join our NDI Advanced SDK family, and we can’t wait to see what their customers will unlock with our connectivity technology’s full potential, ” said Daniel Nergård, President of NDI. “As technology continues to advance, products must work together seamlessly for easier use, and this partnership will be significant for both NDI and Bolin consumers”.
