BrightSign, the global market leader in digital signage media players and media player experiences, today unveiled its plans for the InfoComm 2023 tradeshow (June 14-16 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, FL). Visitors to BrightSign’s booth #813 will be the first to experience the full line of the company’s new Series 5 media players, as well as a new commercial display with integrated digital signage capabilities developed by MOKA Technology, a subsidiary of TCL Technology Group. In addition to showcasing its latest hardware, BrightSign will feature a range of partner solutions powered by its media players, plus an innovative new locker room application that brings interactive digital signage capabilities to athletic facilities like never before.

“This year’s InfoComm marks an important milestone in that we’ll be showing our full line of Series 5 players for the very first time,” said Jeff Hastings, CEO of BrightSign. “Visitors to our booth are in for a treat – not only will they be the first to see our newly unveiled XT5 player, but they’ll also get an exclusive first look at a new BrightSign-enabled large-format commercial display developed by TCL subsidiary, MOKA Technology.”

Introducing BrightSign XT5

BrightSign is transforming the world of digital signage through an ecosystem of excellence and cutting-edge technology that empowers businesses to connect and communicate in dynamic and impactful ways. BrightSign’s new Series 5 offers a comprehensive array of hardware solutions to enable brands to create captivating experiences that educate, entertain, inform and inspire.

BrightSign will unveil its new XT5 media player at InfoComm, officially completing its new Series 5 family of players. XT5 joins the previously announced AU5, LS5, HD5, XD5 and the flagship XC5 player to round out BrightSign’s portfolio of award-winning media players.

MOKA Technology BS60 with BrightSign Built-In

Visitors to BrightSign’s booth will get an exclusive first look at the MOKA BS60, the flagship of an upcoming line of commercial displays featuring the BrightSign Built-in platform. BrightSign developed the new display with MOKA Technology, which is a subsidiary of TCL Technology Group. MOKA joins the growing list of hardware manufacturers embracing the BrightSign Built-In platform.

Trending Technology in Higher Ed

The locker room might be an unexpected place to find BrightSign technology, but creating a personalized experience extends well beyond the arena and its fans and is becoming increasingly important in recruiting and retaining athletes. One of the stand-out experiences in BrightSign’s InfoComm booth will be an innovative new high-end locker that creates dynamic, engaging and personalized experiences in athletic locker rooms for both current athletes and potential recruits. The locker features a 29-inch Bluefin Ultrawide display with BrightSign Built-In that displays content triggered by a trio of input devices, including wireless sensors that cue specific video content when either the player’s helmet or jersey is lifted, as well as wrist bands with embedded sensors programmed to trigger athlete-specific content whenever the athlete nears the locker. Similar innovative locker room solutions are currently in production and have been deployed by several higher education athletic programs as well as the National Football League (NFL) here in the US.

Partner Showcase

BrightSign’s strong network of software and hardware partnerships from across the A/V industry will be on display throughout the booth, highlighting the breadth of applications made possible by BrightSign’s new Series 5 media players. The booth will showcase a wide range of digital signage use cases powered by several of our CMS partners. Together we will be showcasing everything from interactive 3D WebGL to interactive 2D graphics and real-time data dashboard experiences – all “Powered by Purple” and evolving the digital media player experience.
