Cabletime appoints new CEO to spearhead expansion plans

Cabletime, developer of the powerful MediaStar range of IPTV and digital media distribution solutions has announced the appointment of Shaun Oxenham as Chief Executive Officer with responsibility for Cabletime’s operations in the UK, Europe, USA and Asia.

Shaun takes over as CEO from Nick Bradford, who, as the newly appointed Founding Director, will now take a more strategic role. Shaun has been involved with Cabletime as a Non-Executive Director since 2013 and has been responsible for helping to steer the company. In his new position, he will focus on driving Cabletime’s growth beyond AV and into the broader technology sector, taking advantage of the opportunities afforded by closer collaboration between the traditional IT and AV channels and the growth of vertical market specialist integrators. His aim is also to help Cabletime build even stronger relationships with influential consultants in both IT and AV.

With over twenty five years of experience creating and managing successful businesses in fast-paced and leading edge environments, Shaun is well positioned to take the helm at Cabletime. As the founding CEO of Enfis Group plc, a semi-conductor light engine developer, he took the company through several rounds of venture capital funding culminating with a listing on the AIM London Stock Exchange in 2007. Previously he was Managing Director of Ubiquity Software Corporation in the UK, taking the company’s SIP products for next generation telecom networks to the market leading position; and before that Operations Director of Relay and a key member of the MBO team that bought the company in 1996 and later sold to a US-based software corporation.

“Shaun has already been highly influential in our expansion since he joined the board and I am delighted to be handing over the mantle to him,” said Nick Bradford. “Cabletime is on a growth trajectory in our key territories and needs energy, experience and careful steering to ensure we achieve our objectives, all of which Shaun can deliver. This is a turning point in Cabletime’s development and we are excited about our prospects for the future.”

“I am extremely excited about the possibilities for Cabletime which has a solid foundation of 30 years of operation in the professional AV market and an impressive blue chip client base,” commented Shaun Oxenham. I will be looking to build on the great work that Nick and the team have invested over many years and I look forward to broadening Cabletime’s reach and competitive offering”

Shaun becomes CEO with immediate effect, and he will be meeting Cabletime partners and customers at ISE 2015 in February on the Cabletime booth (10-P116).
