Hebden Bridge, November 20th, 2023 — Calrec is pleased to announce its flagship Argo Q console has been nominated for a NAMM Tech Award (TEC) in the Outstanding Technical Achievement in the Large Format Console Technology category. The TEC Awards honor the latest achievements in pro audio and sound production, along with the audio professionals that bring sound to life. The award winners will be announced on January 27, 2024, at the NAMM Show in Anaheim, CA. Other nominees in this category include SSL, DiGiCo, Yamaha, Avid, and Audient.
Calrec is leading the world of broadcast audio on the path to IP with a range of solutions, allowing customers to move at their own pace to the protocol of the future. Argo heads its console range, which includes the Argo Q and the smaller Argo S, with intuitive IP native surfaces and supercharged DSP, interchangeable panels and configurable layouts. Argo is unique in that it interacts with Calrec’s Assist UI, allowing users to switch between physical hardware panels and a remote GUI with ease. Argo’s modular panel system encourages broadcasters to adapt surface hardware to meet their unique requirements, with two mid-level rows of interchangeable panels on the larger Argo Q model and one mid-level row on the compact Argo S model.
