Nashville, TN – March 15, 2026 – The cavlo Tech Expo will return to Nashville, Tennessee on April 22–23, 2026, bringing together professionals from across the professional AVL, broadcast, live events, digital signage, and technology integration industries for two days of hands-on technology discovery, networking, and education.
Hosted by cavlo, the event is designed to create a more accessible, efficient tradeshow experience where attendees can connect directly with manufacturers, distributors, and technology innovators while exploring the latest solutions shaping the future of Pro AVL and digital signage.
This year’s event will feature strategic collaborations with leading industry organizations including Higher Education Technology Managers Alliance (HETMA), WAVIT (Women in AV/IT) and a professional certification class, the Digital Signage Certified Expert (DSCE) class, taught by Jonathan Brawn.
Supporting the “Road to 10K” with HETMA
As a partner organization, Higher Education Technology Managers Alliance (HETMA) will participate at cavlo as part of its growing initiative to expand the higher education AV community through the Road to 10K campaign.
Higher education technology professionals represent one of the fastest-growing segments of the Pro AV ecosystem, and cavlo’s accessible format provides an ideal environment for collaboration between higher ed technology leaders and solution providers.
“Nashville and cavlo provide an ideal setting for higher education technology professionals to connect with the broader AVL community,” said Erin Maher-Moran, MEM, CTS, Chair of HETMA. “Events like cavlo help support our Road to 10K initiative by bringing more professionals into the conversation and strengthening the network that supports higher education technology across the country.”
Expanding Opportunity Through WAVIT
Also partnering with cavlo is WAVIT (Women in AV/IT), a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering, educating, and elevating women within the professional AV and IT industries.
At cavlo Tech Expo, WAVIT will exhibit and provide information about its mentorship and internship programs, designed to help cultivate the next generation of technology professionals and expand career opportunities across the Pro AV ecosystem.
“cavlo creates an environment where meaningful connections happen naturally,” said Brandy Alvarado-Miranda, Founder of WAVIT. “By participating in the event, we can introduce more people to WAVIT’s mentorship and internship initiatives while helping strengthen the talent pipeline that will support the future of the AV and IT industries.”
Industry Education with DSCE Certification
Education is also a central component of the cavlo Tech Expo experience. The event will host an in-person session for the Digital Signage Certified Expert (DSCE) course, the industry’s only recognized digital signage certification. A special discounted rate of $395 is exclusively offered for cavlo Tech Expo attendees.
Developed to help professionals understand and capitalize on the rapidly expanding digital signage market, the DSCE course covers the complete digital signage ecosystem, from system design and technology selection to content creation, deployment strategies, and measuring return on investment.
“Digital signage continues to transform how organizations communicate with audiences,” said Jonathan Brawn, Principal of Brawn Consulting and DSCE course educator. “The DSCE program helps professionals understand the full scope of the market and equips them with the frameworks needed to design and deploy successful digital signage networks.”
A Different Kind of Industry Event
“cavlo Tech Expo is known for offering a more approachable and community-driven alternative to traditional large-scale trade shows. With curated exhibitors, hands-on demonstrations, and strong networking opportunities, the event creates an environment where attendees can spend meaningful time exploring technology and building relationships, said cavlo Show Director, Mike Brown-Cestero. “Professionals from system integration, live production, broadcast, higher education, corporate IT, and the digital signage industries are expected to attend.”
