Amsterdam, Netherlands – February 11, 2020 – Crestron, a global leader in workplace technology, will unveil its new line of X Series modular high-performance audio amplifiers at ISE 2020. The new product line answers the need for a powerful, cost-effective, and ultra-versatile solution for meeting spaces and classrooms of all sizes.
“The unique added value of the X Series lies in its incredible versatility,” said Josh Stene, VP of Marketing at Crestron. “There’s 2 and 4 channel models. They can be bridged for more power. They can drive 4/8 ohm, and 70/100 volt loads. That means dealers can stock just one of these amps and know it will meet the requirements for the majority of situations they’ll encounter. Better still, up to four of these amplifiers can be ganged together in a single rack space and all of the mounting hardware you could possibly need is included.”
Compact, modular form factor
All Crestron modular amplifiers are 1 RU high. The AMP-X300 (1/2 space wide) and AMP-X50MP (1/4 space wide) can be ganged together with any other modular amplifier to provide a neat and complete AV solution.
Configurable and powerful
The 4 channel AMP-X300 delivers 75 w per channel. If more power is required, it can be bridged to deliver 150 w per channel. It’s switchable between normal 4/8 ohm operation or 2 channels of 70/100 volt operation. The AMP-X50MP delivers 25w per channel at 4/8 ohm or can be bridged to deliver 50 w for one channel of 70/100 volt.
