“From broad business to very specific vertical market opportunities, our InfoComm 2016 Drone Presentation Sessions are designed to provide ProAV integrators with everything they need to put into place a practical revenue generating business plan built around drones, Drone Video Systems, as well as the components that attach to drones to create a complete ProAV system solution,” Stampede President & COO Kevin Kelly said today.

Beyond education, Kelly continued, the Stampede Drone Pavilion this year is featuring the largest array of drone and related component manufacturers ever assembled at an InfoComm Show. “Each year we bring more manufacturer partners to the show because each one offers very specific benefits to the ProAV community, depending on the channel focus,” he explained.  “There is no one solution that fits all drone applications. Integrators need to be able to select the right partner for the right customer in a vertical market.  That’s why we offer more options than any other distributor in the world — bar none.”

“Drone technology is a very interesting trend that is capturing people’s attention and impacting the AV industry,” said Jason McGraw, CTS®, CAE, Senior Vice President of Expositions, InfoComm International. “We’re excited about the content-rich program the Drone Pavilion has planned for InfoComm 2016. Visiting the pavilion, you will learn how to implement this technology into different applications and into your business model.”

Indeed, the list of companies participating in the InfoComm 2016 Stampede Drone Pavilion covers every conceivable application: Aerialtronics for commercial grade drones focused on inspections, FreeFly for aerial cinematography focused on camera stabilization, Xfly for heavy lift and dynamic frame change, AEE for low cost without sacrificing quality, 3DR for personal cinematography made easy, DJI for market leading enthusiast drones, Xcraft for the versatile platform that can transition from vertical to horizontal flight, Amimon for the industry standard in wireless HD video, Trackimo to easily find a missing drone, FLIR for affordable thermal imaging with on-board data recording, Agrowing for precision agriculture with a multispectral lens, Hoverfly for the tethered drone that can fly all day, Fiilex for a low cost drone lighting solution, Kodak to capture 360 degree full spherical video, and ParaZero to fly safe and avoid potential injury to bystanders and expensive property.

Broadening the scope of drone applications even further, Stampede is also showcasing two virtual reality solutions providers that integrate with a complete drone system, including the ZEISS VR ONE, the PREMIUM mobile Virtual Reality Headset that works with all VR apps on Google Play and App Store and AveOpt, a Virtual Reality/Augmented Reality IT/Software solutions company whose approach is to integrate VR/AR technologies with other disruptive technologies (such as sensor and autonomous vehicle technologies).

Also on display in the pavilion is VideoBank, whose latest technology offering is the Virtual Meeting Room™ (VMR) that offers the most innovative and intuitive approach to the teacher-student and student-student relationship within higher education to date.  The student’s interaction is not just with the technology, but also with the other participants in his or her class, thus introducing a new and more meaningful approach to virtual learning and online communications.  FlyMotion Unmanned Systems, one of the most recognized, full-scale UAS solution and service companies, will be showcasing their state-of-the-art mobile drone command and control vehicles. ESRIGo Professional Cases,SmartC2, and Yuneec are also part of the pavilion.

“We’re not providing the InfoComm community with an idea of where the industry is headed, we’re showing the InfoComm community how to implement a fully deployed solution that can meet the needs of any commercial vertical market,” Kelly asserted. “Thousands of attendees from dozens of vertical markets are attending this show, and we are committed to providing every one of them with a state-of-the-art solution with an approved certification program that teaches them how to use drones in a safe and sanctioned way.”

The InfoComm 2016 Drone Pavilion is located at booth N-168 in the North Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center.
