Hi-Net Technology Joins the SDVoE Alliance

Hi-Net Technology, a manufacturer of Power-over-Ethernet solutions, has joined the SDVoE Alliance as an adopting member

The SDVoE Alliance, a nonprofit consortium of technology providers collaborating to standardize the adoption of Ethernet to transport AV signals in professional AV environments, announces Hi-Net Technology has joined the SDVoE Alliance as an adopting member.

Hi-Net Technology designs and manufactures a variety of technologies, including Power-over-Ethernet (PoE), industrial network devices, network switch lines, power supply products, HDMI to Ethernet solutions, optical products and wireless solutions. Established in 2010, Hi-Net Technology is invested in supplying the best network devices for a global customer base. Hi-Net Technology continues to meet the needs of existing new and old customers with an increased investment in research and development of 10G and 40G network switch products and ultra-PoE products to expand emerging markets.

“We are pleased to welcome Hi-Net Technology to our growing network of members,” said Justin Kennington, president of the SDVoE Alliance. “Hi-Net Technology has made significant investments in researching and developing 10 gigabit and 40 gigabit network switch products. We look forward to collaborating with Hi-Net Technology as they continue to develop new technologies to simplify the installation of 10 gigabit and 40 gigabit infrastructure.”

In recent years, industry demands for remote data collection and real-time content management have dramatically increased AV-over-IP applications. AV-over-IP technology supports high-quality audio/video transmission over long distances without latency, making it ideal for content streaming applications. All AV distribution and processing applications that demand zero-latency and uncompromised video can benefit from SDVoE technology, which provides an end-to-end hardware and software platform for AV extension, switching, processing, and control through advanced chipset technology, common control APIs, and interoperability. SDVoE network architectures are based on off-the-shelf Ethernet switches, thus offering substantial cost savings and greater system flexibility and scalability over traditional approaches, such as point-to-point extension and circuit-based AV matrix switching.
