Hitachi Adds CP-HD9320 and CP-HD9321 to DLP Projector Lineup

Chula Vista, California, November 18, 2014 – Always on the cutting-edge of technology, Hitachi America, Ltd., Digital Media Division, Business Solutions Group is introducing two new DLP projectors, the CP-HD9320 and CP-HD9321. Offering the most advanced functionality with full HD 1080p (1920 x 1080) resolution, Hitachi’s CP-HD9320 and CP-HD9321 are ideal for large auditoriums, conference rooms, museums, and concert or stage productions.

Hitachi’s new projectors provide solid reliability, high brightness, and unmatched versatility. Six interchangeable lenses are available to match various screen sizes and installation environments plus 8,200 ANSI lumens light output, resulting in a super-bright display with outstanding image clarity and uniformity. Two built-in color wheels enable users to easily switch between Rich Color Mode, which is ideal for use in environments where vibrant, rich images are required, and Bright Mode, which is ideal for presentations that require the sharing of information. Additionally, the projectors offer built-in edge blending capability that achieves the seamless projection of one image using multiple projectors.

The CP-HD9320 and CP-HD9321 are equipped with a highly desirable dual lamp system. If one lamp stops functioning during use, the second lamp continues to run and projects the image with no interruption. Twenty-four hours of continuous operation is possible with the Alternative mode, which alternates the use of the two lamps.

Hitachi’s CP-HD9320 and CP-HD9321 incorporate five digital inputs including 3G SDI for broadcast capability. The projectors are also HDBase-T enabled, delivering whole-home and commercial distribution of uncompressed HD multimedia content over a single CAT5e/6 cable. HDBaseT is unique in its ability to provide professional installers with a much simpler and more cost-effective way to transmit uncompressed HD video.

Providing even greater installation flexibility, the CP-HD9320 and CP-HD9321 feature a display rotation of 360 degrees as well as portrait projections. The warping tool enables projections onto spherical surfaces or surfaces with corners as well as conventional flat screens, offering limitless possibilities for creative applications, including retail, hospitality and museums.

No matter how large the application environment, the CP-HD9320 and CP-HD9321 deliver larger-than-life performance. For added peace of mind, Hitachi’s CP-HD9320 and CP-HD9321 are also backed by a generous warranty and Hitachi’s world-class service and support programs.
