New software solutions extend trusted timing measurement across broadcast, venue, and professional AV applications
Stand 10.A40, IBC2025, Amsterdam, 12 – 15 September 2025: Hitomi Broadcast, the market leader in audio/video alignment and latency tools, will showcase its expanded MatchBox ecosystem at IBC2025 (Hall 10, Stand A42, RAI Amsterdam). The company will demonstrate how its trusted timing measurement technology now addresses latency challenges across diverse environments, from traditional broadcast facilities to venue production, consumer devices, and medical applications.
Hitomi’s new software solutions create a comprehensive ecosystem that connects different parts of the broadcast chain, enabling teams to share analysis resources and measure timing accuracy from camera to final distribution.
At IBC2025, Hitomi will demonstrate its “glass-to-glass” measurement capability, showing how end-to-end latency can be precisely measured from camera capture through to final display. This addresses the critical need for understanding timing throughout the entire signal path as direct-to-consumer streaming becomes more prevalent.
“As the world becomes more software-focused, so does Hitomi,” explains Russell Johnson, Director at Hitomi. “We’re moving with the times to provide broadcasters with the peace of mind that comes from knowing their content is perfectly timed, regardless of delivery method. We have been working with a number of trusted partners to bring our timing capabilities within places where it’s never been before”
