During 2020 Tecom Electronics installed hundreds of “hybrid” AV classrooms to the great satisfaction of various clients including universities, colleges, schools, medical facilities, training rooms in corporations, army and defense facilities, government and municipality boardrooms and more.
Among such clients is the Ashkelon Academic College where Tecom rapidly deployed turn-key AV solution which includes TecPodium Lecterns, PTZ cameras, projection systems, AV control, microphones and audio equipment – all in order to allow the continuity of the studies during the pandemic.
Tecom TE-PT950 PTZ robotic camera delivers amazing Full HD quality with a wide viewing angle, multiple video interfaces, adapted especially for hybrid classrooms. The different camera presets are controlled via the TecPodium Lectern main control panel.
The classroom was equipped with SHURE OMNI microphones and audio mixers to enable great voice pickup in different areas. The lecturer can communicate with all of the students, including the students who study from their home. An additional professional 65” LED display by LG allows the presenter to see the remote students, share thoughts, answer questions and more, as if it’s a frontal lecture.
The systems enable sharing between the student capsules that actually study on Campus and the student capsule that studies from home, thus enabling quality lessons and lectures without compromising the ability of any student to participate.
The systems are easy to use, simple and reliable and don’t require any special training. All is done at a click of a button from the TecPodium Lectern control panel.
