Marietta, GA – Users of Mira Connect, the smart touchscreen control system from Aveo Systems, can now easily import their organizations’ contact directories into their control system. Directories can include telephone and/or video numbers, optional bridge numbers, passcodes, and user extensions, and links to photos of each contact. Once imported, the directory may be assigned to any or all rooms within the organization, enabling fast, easy selection of participants in a meeting from the Mira Connect in each room.
“Mira Connect has always been easy to set up by partners and even easier to use,” said Craig Richardson, CEO of Aveo Systems. “We’ve continued that approach with directory support too.” As directories are imported, Mira Portal auto-detects the data fields and allows administrators to quickly specify any remaining fields to complete the import. Users are then presented with an elegant searchable list of contacts that can be dialed with one touch. “Multiple directories can be imported and used together with equipment-specific directories, such as from a Zoom Rooms system, extending the Zoom conferencing functionality,” said Richardson.
In addition to the directory capability, Aveo Systems’ Mira Connect integrates with Microsoft Office 365 calendars, allowing users to start calls with a single button press, and supports Zoom Rooms while simultaneously managing all other equipment within the room. With Mira Connect’s remote control capability, users can control their rooms from anywhere with a browser, including from mobile devices. No programming is required and Mira Connect seamlessly manages hundreds of audio, video and meeting products from different collaboration solution providers.
