Louisa‘s House & Electronics Wins First Powerline Control Systems Project of the Month Contest

Northridge, Calif. — May 31, 2011 —

Powerline Control Systems, Inc.

, the manufacturer of PulseWorx

lighting control

for residential and light commercial applications, and inventor of Universal Powerline BusA® (UPB) technology, has announced that it has awarded Louisa’s Movie House & Electronics of Durango, Colo. as the Project of the Month winner for May.

Louisa’s Movie House & Electronics’ client needed a system which provided whole home automation for an 18,000 sq. ft. home. While the client demanded the best system available, it also needed to be simple to use and convenient, and the architect was insistent that each room could have no more than a two-gang light outlet. This meant that most lights had to go to lighting panels and keypads, making PCS’ products perfect for this installation. The installer placed 125 WS1D wall switch dimmers, 34 KPLD/R keypad dimmers, and 20 KPCW wall mount keypads, and because of the seamless integration of PCS’ products, the installer was able to use Elan’s G! system to control the entire home via a smartphone, tablet, or computer.

“Using PCS’ products for this gave me the ability to install a system that was convenient to use and easy to work with and integrate with other products,”? said Don Bendell of Louisa’s. “What could have been an extremely daunting job was made easy, and the end result was truly spectacular.”?

“We like to reward our installers when they use our products to create amazing lighting control solutions for their clients,”? said Scott Klodowski, director of sales and marketing for PCS. “We’re excited about continuing the Project of the Month contest and look forward to many more great entries.”?

Winners of the project of month are chosen based on which installation demonstrates excellence in PulseWorx system as well as factors such as:
