Mediaproxy to highlight latest LogServer functionality at CABSAT 2022

Melbourne, Australia: 4 May 2022 – Mediaproxy, the globally leading developer of software-based IP compliance solutions, will show the most recent additions to the feature set of its LogServer IP logging, monitoring and analysis system during CABSAT 2022. Latest support for SMPTE ST 2110, NMOS and SCTE Ad-insertion can be seen on the Qvest stand (A5-10) at Dubai World Trade Centre from 17 to 19 May.

LogServer is a compliance platform that operates entirely in software. It was designed to reliably log and monitor program output to ensure it meets broadcast regulations and standards. The system is able to seamlessly integrate with cloud, virtual or on-premises workflows, supporting video, audio and real-time data from sources including 4K, HDR, 10-bit, HEVC, TSoIP, SMPTE ST 2110, Zixi and SRT.

Since introducing LogServer in 2001, Mediaproxy has continued to develop and upgrade it to meet the changing requirements of broadcasters, streaming services and playout facility operators. Among the latest ground-breaking features are advanced clustering of decentralized systems on IP networks, including the cloud, and a new interface platform intended to simplify configuration at scale. This ushers in a new era in distributed access, setup and configuration throughout an entire organization, enabling a presence both locally and globally.

These developments are designed to offer sophisticated and flexible monitoring that is now vital for the smooth and efficient running of broadcast and media services today. LogServer can work with a wide-range of distribution platforms and technologies, including Next Gen TV, IP-driven workflows and cloud migration, delivering the monitoring and logging functionality necessary to both comply with regulatory demand and deliver the quality of experience expected by viewers.

“Compliance is no longer a purely operational or engineering matter,” comments Mediaproxy’s Rajesh Patel, Vice President of Sales and Solutions for Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA). “It is now an intrinsic part of the business of media delivery for broadcasters, streamers and playout facilities alike. We are looking forward to demonstrating this with the latest additions to LogServer when we exhibit alongside Qvest, one of the leading technology service providers for the media sector, at CABSAT 2022.”
