Meyer Sound’s lightest self-powered stage monitor, the MJF-210, will be heard in its first trade show demo at All Access Show 2014 on January 30 and 31 in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. The low-profile MJF-210 carries the sonic performance of the MJF-212A stage monitor, which has been used by artists such as Metallica, Usher, and Michael Bublé. The MJF-210 began shipping in November 2013.
The MJF-210 weighs 67 pounds (30.5 kg) and measures less than 14 inches (35.5 cm) high, and is sloped at 40 degrees from the stage. Each loudspeaker houses a four-inch diaphragm compression driver coupled to a 50A° H x 70A° V constant-directivity horn. A three-channel class D amplifier powers the drivers. An optional RMSâ„¢ remote monitoring system module enables comprehensive monitoring on a Mac or Windows computer. In addition, Meyer Sound will display the UPA-1P loudspeaker at the booth.
All Access Show will also feature an interview with Lee Moro, Meyer Sound’s Nashville manager and touring liaison, in a special session entitled “Hot Seat.” More details are available on the All Access Show website.
