Strengthening the position of its Niles® brand throughout North America, Nortek Security & Control (NSC), announced today the appointment of Montreal-based SFM to serve as a Canadian distribution partner for Niles audio products. According to NSC Vice President of Sales Jeff Costello, the arrangement will bring Niles solutions to more resellers, integrators and retailers throughout Canada.
“SFM has a 40-year history of providing AV integrators with the solutions their customers demand, including our Furman® and Panamax® brands,” Costello said today. “SFM’s expertly trained sales force will help dealers deliver Niles solutions to more custom installations throughout Canada.”
According to Steven Freytag, General Manager of SFM’s Custom Installation division, “Distributing the Niles product line in Canada was the right business decision for SFM and our dealers, and it further supports our long-lasting relationship with Nortek Security & Control.”
“We can now offer Niles audio solutions to our dealers and integrators along with our other leading CI industry leaders, including Shure, Luxul and OmniMount,” continued Freytag. “Our dealers and integrators will receive the same level of high-quality support and service with Niles that they have received from SFM since 1978.”
