Pro Audio Systems (PAS) of Bradford has become the first rental company in the UK to own the new self-powered MJF-210 stage monitor from Meyer Sound. Built for the demanding needs of today’s live productions, the MJF-210 is the lightest stage monitor in the Meyer Sound product line.
“A credible stage monitoring package for high-profile work had been the missing link in our rental inventory for some time,” says Brian Lumb, managing director for PAS. “As a Meyer Sound house, we wanted something that delivers the same audio performance, reliability, acceptance, and ease of use that all our other Meyer Sound products provide. As soon as we heard the MJF-210, we knew that our search was over and it was time to invest.”
A self-powered system with a low-profile design and an impressive power-to-size ratio, the MJF-210 contains two 10-inch LF transducers and a four-inch diaphragm compression driver mounted on a 50A° H x 70A° V constant directivity horn. The drivers are powered by an internal three-channel Class D amplifier.
PAS has added 12 MJF-210 stage monitors to an existing inventory of Meyer Sound equipment that includes MILOA® line array loudspeakers, MSL-4 loudspeakers, 700-HP subwoofers, UltraSeriesâ„¢ and Industrial Series loudspeakers, GalileoA® loudspeaker management systems, and more.
