Revolabs Leads UC Conversation at SpiceWorld 2017 IT Conference

SUDBURY, Mass. — Sept. 19, 2017 —

Revolabs(R), Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Yamaha Corporation and part of the Yamaha UC department, will lead a timely, educational session and showcase its leading unified communication (UC) solutions and integration partnerships at SpiceWorld 2017, Oct. 9-11 at the Austin Convention Center in Austin, Texas. A respected thought leader in the conferencing and collaboration industry, Timothy Mackie, a Revolabs field sales engineer, will help IT professionals better understand and easily implement exceptional conferencing solutions that ease management and operation.

The IT Pro Track session, titled “How to Create an Awesome Conference Room and Become the Company Hero,” will be held Wednesday, Oct. 11 from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. and cover all aspects of what makes a good conference room. Mackie will explain how to select the right equipment to create a conference room with high functionality, performance, and ease of use while keeping the solution simple, cost effective, and intuitive for users. As a result, IT professionals will be able to confidently understand meeting space requirements and select, install, and manage new conferencing equipment and services.

In addition, the company will demonstrate its latest UC innovations that solve IT hurdles and enable high-quality, productive collaboration in every meeting space. Attendees will experience the new Yamaha YVC-1000MS, a USB speakerphone solution engineered with Yamaha’s quality audio technology and expertise to enhance the Skype for Business meeting user experience. It is a scalable and flexible solution engineered to strict Microsoft(R) requirements to support the audio needs of large meeting rooms, rooms with special table configurations, and even remote education classes or seminars within the Skype for Business application. The user-friendly design provides fast, intuitive connection to a call on a smartphone by Bluetooth(R) and can bridge to a Skype for Business call via USB.

Also on display will be the new Yamaha CS-700 Video Sound Collaboration System, an all-in-one wall-mounted UC solution designed to simplify installation and deployment and ensure the highest quality audio and video in huddle and small meeting spaces. Through a single USB cable, it is ready to connect to an organization’s chosen UC platform, such as Skype for Business, Cisco(R) Spark, GoToConference(TM), Google(TM) Chrome devices for meetings, Vidyo(R), WebEx(R), Zoom(R), BlueJeans(R), and many others. This plug-and-play approach allows users to quickly get started without wrestling with disparate video, audio, and collaboration components in the room, thus eliminating complex steps from the process that can waste valuable meeting time or require the assistance of on-call IT staff. In addition, the CS-700’s integrated network management system allows IT staff to remotely manage each unit from one location, increasing service response and efficiency.

Revolabs will also highlight the seamless integration of its solutions with its latest technology partners, including Microsoft(R), Google(TM), Cisco(R), and Zoom(R). To ensure a successful technology environment, Revolabs products are interoperable with solutions from these select technology providers. This integration gives IT professionals access to premium audio solutions designed to complement their UC environments by enabling clear communication that sounds as natural as in-person conversation and eases technology management across an organization.
