Its mentees benefit from a range of support*, including one-to-one mentoring contact with their pairing, monthly group meetings, facilitated peer-to-peer support and access to networking and workshops.
Carrie Wootten, Managing Director of Rise, said: “We are delighted to announce the 2021 mentoring programme and look forward to receiving the international mentee applications, especially those in North America for the first time. We know that the support provided through the programme is needed now more than ever during these times.”
Having recently launched its 16-18-year-old mentoring programme in partnership with University Technical Colleges, Rise will be expanding this programme of work to support more young women across England and also returning to primary schools, delivering its hands-on practical broadcast workshops, when it is safe to do so.
Wootten added: “I would like to thank the incredible generosity of all of our sponsors, which enable us to bring our programmes of work to women in the industry across three regions and for us also to develop our education arm Rise Up, which is critical in inspiring, educating and informing the next generation of talent. I am looking forward to working with them all to collectively reach our ambition of a gender-balanced and diverse workforce.”
