SIOUX FALLS, S.D. — April 1, 2010 — The SENCORE RadianceXEâ„¢ video processor has earned the coveted Video Product of the Year Platinum award from the TechHome division of the Consumer Electronics Association (CEA). The CEA awards recognize outstanding and innovative products in trendsetting custom home electronics. A panel of industry experts selected this year’s winners, which were announced March 26, at the 11th annual Electronic House Expo in Orlando, Fla.
Based on advanced digital processing, the RadianceXE is a flexible switching and distribution hub that supports delivery of top-quality, distortion-free picture and sound in advanced audio/video systems. Serving as a video switch, the RadianceXE processes streams from selected video sources, including HDMI sources, and then outputs them in the right format and resolution to ensure outstanding image quality.

The RadianceXE video processor delivers crystal-clear 1080p images and multichannel Dolby TrueHD, while offering HDMI 1.3 compatibility, including uncompressed audio. The RadianceXE includes dedicated HDMI receivers on each HDMI input for super-fast switching; six HDMI inputs for easy connection and switching between sources including videogame platforms; and proprietary No-Ringâ„¢ video scaling, which converts the input resolution to the display’s resolution to eliminate artifacts and improve clarity.
New RadianceXE product features include picture-in-picture (PIP), which permits theater viewers to preview video programs and swap the inset picture for the main video with no annoying delay. More enhancements include self-configuring of output resolution and HDMI signal type during installation, eliminating the tedious task of determining the best setting for display and for navigating setup menus. Also, a new just-above-black calibration point in the multipoint three-dimensional grayscale/gamma calibration improves color balance.
