Symetrix announces an interactive call-in demonstration of the SymNet 4 Channel Acoustic Echo Cancellation (AEC) Input Option Card, for installation in both SymNet Edge and Radius AEC DSPs. The SymNet audio conferencing demonstration is fully automated, originating from a conference room at Symetrix headquarters. The demo is available 24/7/365 by calling 1-425-640-3331.
During the demonstration, the caller’s voice is played live from an array of loudspeakers, picked up by an array of microphones, recorded, and routed back to the caller first with AEC bypassed, and then with AEC engaged. In this way, the caller experiences firsthand the effect of three audio conferencing subsystems: acoustic echo cancellation, automatic gain control, and noise cancellation. Additionally, DTMF tones are decoded within the context of the demonstration allowing the caller to repeat, skip, or fast forward using their phone’s keypad.
