The HDA140 is fully HDMI 1.3 and HDCP compliant, and supports the full range of associated features over all of its connections, including 1440p resolution, Deep Color 10/12/16-bit signal formatting, xvYCC Color Space, Dolby TrueHDA® and DTS-HD MasterA® audio systems, and refresh rates up to 120Hz, to accommodate the latest, highest-performance television and projector designs. Just as important, the HDA140’s custom-tailored data-signal amplification and equalization, and its buffered output circuitry, eliminate signal losses to ensure that pristine hi-def video and unimpaired audio performance are delivered over every connection.
Thanks to the capabilities of HDMI interconnection, the Tributaries HDA140 permits a single HDMI output—such as that of an A/V receiver, a satellite or digital-cable set-top box, or DVD/Blu-ray disc player—to supply multiple screens or even satellite A/V-surround systems throughout the home. What’s more, for expansion needs, a second HDA140 can be “cascaded”? to yield a total of seven distributed rooms, screens, or zones.
