TVU Networks to Showcase Latest IP Video Technology at Upcoming Cine Video Expo in Mexico City

TVU Networks will highlight its video-over-IP solutions at the upcoming XXIV Gran Cine Video Expo TV, City Screen in Mexico City

MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA –TVU Networks, the global technology leader in live IP video solutions, will highlight its video-over-IP solutions at the upcoming XXIV Gran Cine Video Expo TV, City Screen, starting June 28 in Mexico City. TVU Networks will exhibit its technology within the booth of its reseller partner, Comtelsat (booth B-4) at the event, which caters to broadcast and video professionals in Latin America.

“Latin America is a very important market to TVU Networks,” said Paul Shen, TVU Networks CEO. “We have a rapidly growing customer base in the area, and we’re focused on strengthening our relationships throughout the region. The Telemundo Expo has always been a well attended and respected show, and we look forward to showing off our recently enhanced TVU One flagship product and to connecting with our current customers, meeting new ones, and receiving product feedback during this event.”

TVU Networks’s TVU One live mobile newsgathering transmitter is a compact solution that delivers high-quality IP video transmission performance. It features TVU Networks’ patented Inverse Statmux Plus (IS+) transmission algorithm, Smart VBR technology, and the TVU.264 video codec. TVU Networks will have live product demos of TVU One in Comtelsat’s show booth. Also to be on display at the Telemundo show will be the new TVU RPS (Remote Production System). The solution is a cost-effective alternative solution for live, remote, multi-camera news and sports coverage. TVU RPS allows for the production of a live, multi-camera program in a remote location using mainly a broadcaster’s existing control room in their studio and a public Internet connection from the field.

The event will be held in Mexico City’s World Trade Center, Halls Maya 1, 2 & 3 from 2 to 8 pm June 28 through July 1. The Cine Video Television, City Screen Expo is coordinated by the publication Screen Professional Telemundo – RevistaPantalla.com / Canal100.com.mx. The event provides exhibitors a forum to demonstrate their latest equipment for production, post-production, projection and audiovisual transmission.
