Verrex Appoints Alexander as Director of Global Managed Services

AV systems integrator Verrex welcomes Debra Alexander with over 15 years of experience in video managed services as head of its GMSâ„¢ teams and offering

MOUNTAINSIDE, NEW JERSEY USA / 8 January 2014 / — Verrex, a global design-build integrator and managed services provider of conferencing, collaboration and presentation technologies, announced that Debra Alexander has been appointed as Director of Global Managed Services (GMS). Responsible for the company’s full portfolio of video and AV managed services, Ms. Alexander will drive product development, go-to-market strategies and performance of the GMS brand globally including VNOC, Cloud-based/VaaS, Service & Support, Onsite Staffing and Professional GMS Services including Adoption and Unified Communications (UC) initiatives. She reports directly to Verrex President & CEO, Thomas Berry, Jr.

Most recently Alexander was Vice President of Customer Support at York Telecom. Additional career highlights include: Vice President of Customer Experience at York Telecom; Vice President of Managed Services at York Telecom; Global Account Executive at ACT Telecommunications; Global Account Project Specialist at PictureTel, based in Andover, MA; and Accounts Team Leader/Conference Support Engineer at PictureTel based in Slough, UK. She received a HND degree in Travel & Tourism from Cornwall College in the UK and has completed American Management Executive training. Alexander is a Certified Vidyo Engineer and a Toastmasters International member.
