Vidispine – an Arvato Systems Brand, will host a live Webinar on Wednesday 16 September 2020 at 11am PST to highlight the challenges and solutions required to meet the growing need for remote, collaborative post-production workflows, with a practical demonstration of live remote editing.
Entitled ‘Remote on a Boat: Workflows for Post-Production in the COVID Era’, the webinar will examine how the increase in remote working – accelerated by the global Coronavirus pandemic – can provide new opportunities to improve post-production workflows, including cloud-based collaboration, enhanced media management and closer integration with third parties.
Guest speaker Brian Hathaway, Post Production Supervisor and owner of UTK post-production, will appear live from his boat in Marina Del Rey, CA to show how to create editing projects remotely in Adobe Premiere Pro using EditMate, the application at the center of the Vidispine solution for Production Asset Management (PAM). Brian has 20+ years’ experience in production and post-production with a deep technical knowledge of both departments.
A live feedback loop with the ‘customer’ will also be presented as part of the demonstration.
In addition, Adobe’s Senior Business Development Manager Van Bedient will provide an update on what is new in Adobe Premiere, and the Vidispine team will demonstrate the latest features and functions for remote collaborative working including ingest and transcoding, metadata, and remote editing.
