GlobalM to Showcase Groundbreaking On-Prem and Hybrid Video Networking Solutions at NAB 2024

GlobalM has today announced the launch of its new seamless on-prem and hybrid networking solution at NAB Show 2024. GlobalM will be exhibiting the most advanced gateway technology on the market, developed for a diverse range of users, including network operators, broadcasters, newsrooms, sports federations, and event producers on the Matrox Video Stand – SL5073.

The software-defined video network (SDVN) technology offers smooth integration with orchestration of major cloud providers such as AWS and OpenStack, giving broadcasters the flexibility to route traffic through a mix of local networks, direct internet, or cloud services. GlobalM delivers a robust solution for both occasional and permanent video services.

Designed for versatility, GlobalM‘s platform offers a scalable and efficient approach to video contribution and distribution and remote production. Supporting SRT or RIST services, the technology integrates with cloud services for dynamic scaling, providing an alternative to traditional static gateways while also allowing for more flexible and efficient video delivery over existing networks.

GlobalM‘s technology delivers versatile video network solutions for a wide range of users, supporting scalable cloud IP video deployments for temporary events and permanent services, enabling cost-effective distribution and efficient management of video content. From live sports and news aggregation to remote production or event broadcasting, GlobalM provides a flexible and scalable approach to meet the dynamic needs of the industry, ensuring users can efficiently manage and distribute high-quality video content across various platforms and networks.

Security and compliance are key foundations of the technology approach taken by GlobalM. Its solutions feature 128-bit AES to 256-bit AES encryption to ensure secure operations, adhere to industry standards and help organisations meet increasingly stringent compliance and compatibility requirements. Additionally, its user-friendly interface and automated workflows simplify video distribution, ensuring advanced video management is accessible to all skill levels.

“NAB is the ideal opportunity for attendees to discover how GlobalM’s SDVN technology can revolutionise their video distribution strategies,” commented Paul Calleja, CEO, GlobalM. “With a longstanding commitment to innovation and quality, GlobalM is ideally placed to meet the challenges of today’s broadcasting landscape, providing solutions that enhance video contribution and distribution.”
